Photography Studio Hire - Terms & Conditions

All bookings made are a contractual agreement between Captured Studio & The Hirer with the below terms:

 

Booking

A booking is considered firm after receiving the full payment. Upon making the full payment the client has agreed to these terms.

 

Payment and Cancellation

Studio bookings must be paid for at the time of booking to secure the studio and to block any other users from using the space.

If cancelled 28 days before the hire date a full refund will be given.

If cancelled at least 7 days before the hire date a 50% refund will be given.

If cancelled less than 7 days before the hire date no refund will be given.

In the unlikely event that your hire needs to be cancelled by Captured Studio, a full refund will be issued.

Damages: A £100 damages deposit is required  for Lighting equipment  and £50 for studio space only on the day of hire in Cash or Via Paypal.  Once the equipment and studio has been inspected on the day, your deposit will be returned to you if there are no damages or loss to the studio.

Set Up and Take down time

The client must include set up and take down time within the hours booked, to avoid overtime charges.

Access

Access to the studio is via the main hirer. Any other members of hirer's party are not permitted into he studio until main hirer has arrived.

Late Arrival

Late arrival of more than 30 minutes, without contacting us will be considered as no show and your booking will be cancelled with no refund.

 

Minors

The client must ensure that all persons under the age of 18 have parents’ or guardian’s permission to be at the studio, for the purposes of the photography or filming, during the period of studio hire.

Public Liability

The client must ensure that his own public liability insurance is operative for all persons in the studio during the hours of use, to cover any accident, injury or death.

Music/Noise

The hirer and their clients must respect others working in the building. No outside Music systems/stereos are allowing in the studio. The studio bluetooth speaker must be used at a respectable level.

Any complaints of loud noise by offices or by the building manager will result in the loss of the full deposit.

Use of Equipment & Space

The client may not without the written consent of Captured Studio: 
(a) remove the equipment from the studio premises; or 
(b) modify or alter or tamper with the equipment in any way; nor 
(c) use the equipment in a manner not recommended by the manufacturer; nor 
(d) allow the equipment to be used by any untrained or unauthorised personnel. 

(e)Equipment must be returned promptly at the end of the hire period in the original condition.

(f)The studio must be cleaned & left in the same condition it was received in at the start of hire and if not left in a clean condition a £20 cleaning fee will be charged

Breakages, Losses and Damages Deposit

(a) The client hiring the studio is responsible for all breakages, losses or damages caused to the studio or equipment by him/her, or any other person, during the use of the studio. Any damages will be deducted from the damages deposit.
(b) All equipment and services are supplied by Captured Studio entirely at the risk of the client. Captured Studio shall not be liable for any loss or damage to materials or props or equipment, including consequential loss and loss of profit however caused, arising out of the use or the inability to use the equipment supplied or agreed to be supplied. 
(c) No alterations, decorations or additions to the studio are permitted without the written consent of Captured Studio

(d) The client shall pay any costs incurred by Captured Studio arising out of any breach of these conditions. 
(e) The client must notify Captured Studio at the time of supply if the condition of the equipment is not acceptable. 
(f) Captured Studio shall not be liable to the client for any loss, damage, expense, or for any consequential loss (including loss of profit) whatsoever or howsoever arising out of or in connection with any of the following: Cancellation, Damage to or loss of property by the Client or the Clients servants or agents or any third party; any breakdown, stoppage or failure of the facilities and equipment provided in the studio or any other equipment supplied to the client by Captured Studio.

Studio Equipment

(a) You will confirm all the equipment above is present and in good to use condition. 
(b) Please note if any equipment is broken lost or stolen it is the responsibility of the person making the booking. Full payment for outstanding items will be required.

Termination

Captured Studio may terminate any hire contract if the client shall be in breach of any of the Terms and Conditions.. Any termination will result in loss of monies paid for hire.
